Summer is coming to an end - at least in Texas where our summers run June - August because school vacation starts in May, and because it’s hot and we want to get to autumn as fast as we can! I hope everyone is reading up a storm. I drooled over all the book suggestions left in last month’s giveaway post! Some new to me authors, and others I’ve tried and not clicked with, but so many to explore. That just proves there is something for everyone to READ!

This month’s giveaway is even bigger than June’s or July’s. I’ll be giving away a $100 gift certificate to either BN.com or Amazon.com to one of my newsletter subscribers. I don’t send out monthly newsletters. I only send them out when I have a new release; the only exception would be to let you all know of a new sale, but most of that I talk about here on the blog. That means, for example, this year you would have received only six newsletters from me. The way things are looking, next year you’ll only receive four! Again, if I get a wild hair . . . but I rarely do. I have too much work on my plate already, and sending out a newsletter is work! I will not flood or spam you.

Use the form above to sign up. It may give you a THANK YOU screen, or it MAY take you to a confirmation screen with a whole list of other newsletters you MIGHT be interested in. (I tested and got both, go fig!) If you get the list, there will ONLY be a check mark next to my name. If you wanted additional newsletters, YOU would have to manually add them. Additionally, your subscription is NOT complete until you respond to the opt-in email that follows. This prevents anyone from adding you against your will. If you don’t respond to the opt-in email, you won’t show up on my list of subscribers and won’t be eligible for the giveaway, so check your spam or junk folders if it doesn’t show up!

And, yes, if you’re already signed up, you’re already eligible. How do you know if you’re signed up? I sent out this newsletter for IN DANGER and this newsletter for AT RISK. If you got those, you’re signed up. If you didn’t, then what’re you waiting for!!!???
