Summer Giveaway Bonanza - Month 1

UPDATE: The winner is Vicki!

Summer is the perfect time for reading . . . by the pool, at the beach, on a blanket spread beneath a tree, in a backyard lounge chair - perhaps underneath a mosquito net! Libraries have summer programs for kids of all ages. I remember taking mine to check out books.

This summer is extra special for me as I have three mass market reissues available in Wal-Mart retail outlets. To celebrate, I’ll be giving away a $50 gift certificate to either Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com in June, and doing the same in July and August.

To be eligible to win, you have to do two things. #1) You must visit my bookshelf, look through the list of my published works and find something that you like, then #2) you must come back here and comment, telling me which book most intrigues you.

Maybe you’ve read it, maybe you haven’t. Just look around and see all the things I’ve written, then return to this post and comment about one of my books to be eligible to win. Be sure and read the rules!

(Images are examples only and not reflective of actual prizes.)

Rules:

  • One entry per person
  • Comment must be made by June 30, 2008, 11:59 p.m. CDT (per WordPress’s comment feature timestamp)
  • Entrants’ comments must include required information as outlined in above post to be eligible

  1. THE BANE AFFAIR was the first book of yours that I read. His story was intriguing b/c of the whole betrayal of a lover and being left to die. When I read that was what the book was about I had to see how he got past that! It was an incredible read!

  2. I really loke all of your books and have followed your career since way back in the Temptation days.

If I had to pick a favorite it would be a tie between your gIRL gEAR series and the SG-5 series. I like them bots because of the recurring characters. I think gIRL gEAR was ground breaking because I can’t think of anything else from Harlequin at the time where the books were so interconnected. thos books told of great friendships between a group of people and of wonderful romances as well.

The SG-5 series does much the same thing. I love both those series as a whole and can’t pick just one book from either.

  3. Not fair - it’s hard to pick just one! I read The Perfect Stranger and thought it was well-written and intriguing - it kept me up at night, trying to get to the end to make sure everything came out okay! But I am also intrigued by the blurb for Kiss and Tell. So judging how I felt about the Perfect Stranger, I’m eager to read Kiss and Tell.

  4. Ah1 I’d have to pick the Idiot’s Guide to Writing Erotic Romance. I’ve not read it but it would, I think, be a useful tool (sic) to find a middle ground between writing soft romance and hard-core SM thrillers.

  5. Diane Pollock Says:

King Trahan’s Story…it sounds unique and possibly either historical or fantasy…both genres I enjoy.

  6. Lynn Bushey Says:

I’ll be looking for the reissue of Deep Trouble, because I really liked Beach Alibi.

  7. Karen H in NC Says:

I haven’t read your work but I think I would start with ‘The Perfect Stranger’. Sounds like in might be fun when an ‘uptown’ girl meets a ‘downtown’ boy.

  8. Patricia Hill Says:

I’ve read Perfect Stranger-loved it. Looking forward to Deep Trouble when it comes out.

  9. I’d like to read THE MCKENZIE ARTIFACT. I like to read about secret lives people are hiding and how it opens up when someone else enters their world.

  10. Ohh, Maximum Exposure! love the cover. :)

  11. ‘Mother, Please’ caught my attention upon reading a blurb. Here is a daughter trying to protect her Mom from the big world of dating and her Mom enlists the help of a tenant to watch Avery, the daughter, and all along the Mom is matchmaking. This book must have some humor in it and I like the laughs I can get whenever possible.

  12. If I had to choose one that intrigues me most, I would pick “Deep Breath”. I currently gravitate more towards romantic suspense. It delivers in terms of tension (both romantic and not) and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. When there’s danger involved, I’m helpless *g*

  13. TEX APPEAL =)

  14. never read but would love to start!

  15. Beyond a Shadow intrigues me. Ezra sounds totally hot and dangerous. And I love spies. :)

  16. Robin Weiss Says:

JINGLE BELL ROCK I love anything Christmasy & in these stories, you never know what kind of a “present” a girl might get!!!!!

  17. I would have to say DEEP BREATH. Love the cover and the blurp.

  18. “Larger Than Life” was my first book by you. It was my introduction to the Smithson Group and the evil Spectra and I’ve been hooked since. Neva was a great heroine, trying to help girls escape underage polygamist marriages.

  19. “Deep Breath” is my favorite book by you. It was a real rollercoaster ride!

  20. I think the book AT RiISK or THE BANE AFFAIR. Who doesn’t like a scarred hero? Hubba Hubba. lol

    Katie

  21. I liked Beyond A Shadow. There’s nothing more interesting than a couple very much different in lifestyle falling for each other.

  22. The perfect Stranger sounds wonderful. Love the blurb for this one and the cover isn’t bad either.

  23. They may be oldies, but they are still goodies. I LOVED all books in the http://www.girl-gear series.

  24. Goes Down Easy looks interesting. Story taking place in New Orleans and a hero out of his elements. Sounds Fun.

  25. Wow, wonderful summer prizes!

Bane Affair - hands down since it introduced me to this wonderful series.

  26. Impressive selection of books. I am very interested in reading The Bane Affair. Cover artwork and the blurb appeals to me.

  27. the bane affair was one the of first erotic romance i read, i did also get my library to order it. i was so excited when they did, i love reading it.

  28. Leslie Sil Says:

    sounds very interesting

  29. A lot of these books sound interesting, but Red Letter Nights “Luv You Madly” is one I haven’t read, and I love the premise.

  30. I have never read any of your books, but I love Christmas stories. I am picking Jingle Bell Rock for my pick.
Always around November and December I pick up only Christmas novels. I read around 4 a month.

  31. Angela Hoagland Says:

I think the story Upstairs/Downstairs sounds great! A three story tribute to Moms by three great authors is a must read! Then there is the “Charmed” essay! So many great titles to choose from!

  32. I have read a few of your books and Goes Down Easy sounds like a good book to try next. A little twist on the normal romance with the visions makes it interesting.

  33. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book of yours from the Temptations to the Bravas, but one of my all time favorites is “The Sweetest Taboo”.
I loved Sebastian Gallo. He was the type of complex character I love. And that shower scene? Is it hot in here……or is it just Sebastian?? *grin*

  34. Jean Patton Says:

“Beyond A Shadow” intrigues me. It has a dark feel to it, one that will keep you on the edge of your sit, a book you can’t put down until you find out what is happening with the characters

  35. I would like to read “Beach Blanket Bad Boys.” I love anthologies because you get a taste of a lot of different authors. I wish I could read it right now becasue I am so ready to go to the beach this summer.

  36. I’m most intrigued by Beach Blanket Bad Boys, because shorter stories are just the right length for a nice break. If I get too far into a novel I don’t get things done that I should.

  37. Crystal B. Says:

The Bane Affair(At Risk). I loved the hero. Made me want to read more books in the series.

  38. Cheri Oggy Says:

I’ve always wanted to read Jingle Bell Rock. When it first came out, I could never find it. I love to read Christmas stories.

  39. limecello Says:

I love this idea, Alison. I tend to really enjoy Brava books - but I don’t think I’ve read many of yours. (And I’m sitting here puzzled, wondering how that happened.) I really love your “cute” Brava anthologies - that’s just how I think of them - Beach Blanket Bad Boys, and Jingle Bell Rock.
I’m intrigued by Kiss & Tell, and the Texas Rangers anthology. :) Can’t wait for those to come out!

  40. I would have to say your story “Blue Christmas” from Jingle Bell Rock has got be my favorite of your books that I have read. I love Christmas stories and this one was very good.

  41. Indiscreet is one of my favorite books, and one of the things that I found intriguing was that the main female character was ethnically part Asian. It was interesting to read about a character whose background wasn’t usually featured in romance books. Also, the chemistry between the two main characters was HOT!

  42. I’d like to read Beyond a Shadow, it looks both exciting and interesting. But of course, I’m looking forward to my copy of At Risk! :)

  43. Justine Taylor Says:

You, my dear, do not write a boring story. your Temptations, Blaze and your anthologies are all they are said to be and I enjoy them immensely, I especially like girl gear and sg 5 series but I am missing one of yours on my bookshelf I cannot find “THE GRINCH MAKES GOOD” but I’m looking. Thanks for the great entertainment.

  44. The book that really caught my eye was Perfect Stranger. There is just something about someone being so far away from his home country and summarily kidnapped that drew me into the story. I was immediately intrigued by the chameleon-like changes of Jackson’s kidnapper, Jillian, and just had to find out exactly what was going on and why she was driven to such lengths. Of course, the cover didn’t hurt either. *wink*

It was really that book that drove me into reading the rest of the SG-5 series since I came in so late.

  45. I haven’t read any of your books YET, but Deep Trouble looks really good!! I KNOW I’ll be picking that book up!!

  46. The first book that I read from your shelf was way back in the Temptation Line - THE BADGE AND THE BABY which was part of the Bachelors & Babies series. I really loved the http://www.girl-gear series and the SG-5 series is a great series.

  47. “Mother, Please!” looks good! I always enjoy a great match-making story :)

  48. Beyond a Shadow is one of the ones that I want to read. I have read most of the SG 5 books except this one and Perfect Stranger.

  49. I think my fav so far has been The Shaughnessey Accord. I love Trip! And I am waiting for Maximum Exposure, I hate waiting lol

  50. I’ve to say Indiscreet. Totally hooked by the excerpt but have not been able to find a copy. I wish they would release it as an ebook.

  51. Boy, I thought surely I would be writing about a cowboy, but one sip of Kiss & Tell had me as intoxicated as was Caleb McGregor! This is one of your books I haven’t read, but the excerpt held my rapt attention to the very last word and I must find out Candy Cane’s secret!

  52. HelenKay Dimon actually got me over here and I have to say I’m intrigued by the SG5 series…especially At Risk which was previously The Bane Affair. Watched your video Shake it for me….wipe drool off the mouth. I was wondering though if there was anything cut out between the rename?

  53. Scarlet - It’s the full original story, nothing rewritten or cut or changed!

  54. Larger Than Life. I read that this was based on the polygamist cult in Texas and I would enjoy reading it.

  55. I read about you on Helenkay Dimon website. You are now on my must read list for this summer. Just dont know if I want to read At Risk first or the Beach Blanket Bad Boys: Sara Smiles. It all sounds good to me!

  56. I’m most curious to read Playing Love’s Odds–I’ve got and read most of the rest of your back list, but the Meteor Kismets and Zebra Bouquets seem to be harder to come by :)

  57. I have been a fan since the first harlequin. Looking at your backlist I noticed a book about Charmed tv series..interesting. But I choose The Perfect Stranger..the cover is just captivating. It brings to mind sitting in a bar with the girls, and picking a guy out of the crowd then trying to come up with a story about him. You know - what would the perfect guy be….

  58. Hmmm…. lets see oh yeah all of them!! Okay okay I know you only want me to pick one and it is going to have to be Tex Appeal. I am a sucker for cowboys, and the one on that cover mmmm mmmm mmmm! Keep up the great work, looking forward for the new releases. Have a great day.

  59. jessiegirl Says:

I’m going to have to say Deep Breath. I loved that book, spy related romances are my favorite. I loaned it to my friend and she loved it so much she never gave it back.

  60. Pamela Bice Says:

xmas is my fav time of the year so I’d have to say Jingle Bell Rock

  61. Larger Then Life sounds very intersting to me, especially after everything thats been in the news lately. I couldn’t imagine being in that kind of a situation.

  62. Patricia Kasner Says:

Playing Love’s odds. I love the way the guy falls in love with the girl when he is following her .Great book

  63. Well, I’ll go with the story in Undressed because I think that one was my first. :) Since that one, I have a couple of the Girl Gear books, Jingle Bell Rock, and Beyond a Shadow :) As for what sounds interesting, anything I don’t already have does! :)

    Lois

  64. Patsy Nelson Says:

    Hi Allison!
I have read all of the gIRL-gEAR books. After reading All Tied Up with Macy and Leo and the Adult scavenger hunt, I was hooked. I couldn’t wait to get the others. No Strings Attached and Bound to Happen along with All Tied Up are my favorites. These are some very sexy reads.

  65. Looking at what I haven’t read yet I find the novella Sara Smiles from Beach Blanket Bad Boys interesting. I’m wondering what happens next.

  66. Girl-Gear were the first ones I read, then the bane afair and all, which led to hunting down all harlequin and on to my auto-buy list. Enjoyed every story read to date.

  67. My curiosity got the better of me. I knew it was a bad idea, considering the book’s not out until December, but I just had to read the blurb for MAXIMUM EXPOSURE. The heroine is the complete antithesis of myself, which is why I want to read this book. But, oh December is just too long to wait!

  68. I haven’t read anything of yours yet, but The Mackenzie Artifact looks intriguing, although the SG-5 series would probably be good too.

  69. The SG-5 series are must read books! Once you read one you will want the rest. You have to read them all! Perfect Stranger was really good too!

  70. AT RISK
    Brava Mass Market
    “The Bane Affair”
    Wal-Mart exclusive reissue
    June 2008

  71. Carol Thompson Says:

    Hi Alison,

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Writing Erotiuc Romance

I have noticed that quite a few authors have published “How To” books on various genres of writing and this seems to be almost a new genre on its own.

Do you have any idea how many successsfull writers have attrubuted their success to such books ?

    Carol

  72. I like The Perfect Stranger, both the cover and the title.

  73. I was caught by your title “Beyond a Shadow”. The cover is gorgeous and the blurb really grabbed my interest. And then I loved the excerpt so I’ll definitely have to hunt this book down. Congrats on all the wonderful new releases I see you have coming up!

  74. Do you have any idea how many successsfull writers have attrubuted their success to such books ?

Carol, I know a lot of authors who’ve found a variety of books invaluable, Debra Dixon’s “Goal Motivation & Conflict” comes to mind. I attribute a lot to Vogler’s “The Writer’s Journey.” I think it comes down to whether or certain instruction resonates for you individually.

  75. THE BANE AFFAIR (aka AT RISK) is one of many of your books that intrigues me. I think that I would enjoy reading the whole Smithson Group series. Can’t wait til they reach my local Walmart!

  76. I’d love to read MacKenzie’s Artifact. I love undercover stories and this one looks good as well as sizzling. Sizzling is, I think, your trademark…hehe!!! I’ve read a few of your books and each one is a gem!!!

  77. I have read several of your books and enjoyed all of them, so it is hard for me to pick just one. I will list The Perfect Stranger. You are a very talented writer, so please keep them coming.

  78. Jane Squires Says:

I have not read any of your work but I am on your newsletter mailing list. All your work looks like something I would like to read. I am an avid reader and love to read. I try to read all kinds of books and write reviews for the Authors. I also try to get word out to others about Authors that especially intrigue me.
A Perfect Stranger might be a place to start.

  79. THE BANE AFFAIR is the book for me to win. I’ve read other books by you but not this one. Must be a great book since it is now being printed as AT RISK and has much appeal after reading the excerpt - great story with much suspense. However, I anxiously await MAXIMUM EXPOSURE.

  80. Hey, all the Girl Gear look interesting, but Stiptease…haven’t we all considered doing a striptease for our man?!

  81. Sandy Van Coevering Says:

i was looking at your backlist and found that you had
written “Playing Love’s Odds” under Michaila Callan and
I had enjoyed that book so much. It now explains why
I found your newer books so good. In fact, I still have
“Playing Love’s Odds”. I think I’ll try to find it in
my book storage so I can read it again.

  82. Nina in Ohio Says:

I read Perfect Stranger and really liked it (plus a few of your older Blazes). I like the intrigue along with the romance so I want to check out your anthology - In Danger. Plus Walmart is just down the street - heh heh!

  83. Patricia Cochran Says:

I enjoyed the stroll along your bookshelf. The book
that really caught my attention is The Bane Affair,
I look forward to reading this tale of intrigue and
    betrayal.

    Pat Cochran

  84. I would love to read THE COMPLETE IDIOT’S GUIDE TO WRITING
EROTIC ROMANCE, just to get a peek at how its done. I might enjoy reading one of the Zebra Bouquets. I didn’t read a lot of romances growing up, but I always liked the Harlequin presents line, which might be similar to the Zebra titles. Never got into Harlequin Temptation or Harlequin Blaze, but I always loved the structure/format of the “traditional” romances, they’re like little petit fours, just sweet and light.

  85. Carolyn A. Says:

The very first book of yours that I read was THE BANE AFFAIR. Since then I’ve read (and loved) all the SG-5 books. It’s too hard to pick a favorite one. I always look forward to the next installment in that series coming out! BTW - I love the new covers for the reissues that are coming out at Walmart this summer.

  86. Hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to say The Beach Alibi. I love when a woman blows all ‘mis’conceptions of herself to pieces. And when its going after what she wants… even better.
I like pretty much all the SG-5 series, though. :)

  87. I bought the Idiot’s Guide to Writing Erotic Romance last year and I love it! I’ve referred to it often and can’t recommend it enough.

Looking through your backlist, The Perfect Stranger appeals to me a lot - that is one sexy video! And, I am just heading to Border’s today. :)

Another that I’ll have to pick up is the Bane Affair/At Risk. Nothing gets to me more than a wounded hero and I’m intrigued not only by the blurb and excerpt, but by the other comments.

  88. My favorite would have to be The Bane Affair as it really sets the background for the whole SG series.
    J

  89. Linda Peters Says:

Hard to pick just one, Beyond A Shadow would be my choice

  90. I would love to read “At Risk”. Sounds like my kind of read, SEX AND SUSPENSE!!!!!! Now that I see your books, I will be reading all of them.

  91. I am intrigued by Sara’s Smiles in Beach Blanket Bad Boys. Jax Stacey sounds like the perfect gentleman. To stay with Sara after she turned down his proposal. Wow. He truly loves her. I would love to read this book.

  92. I LOVE all the SG-5 books and own several! The Bane Affair and Deep Breath were my favorites however, Christian Bane was by far my “favoritest” hero!!!!!!

  93. Flora Presley Says:

I read the Temptation series http://www.Girl-Gear... and enjoyed them. I’m intrigued by the title LARGER THAN LIFE. Makes me think that the hero will be especially charismatic and successful. A great title is a good snare!

  94. Loved Tex Appeal!!

  95. The Perfect Stranger, now there’s a book I could
read cover to cover in one sitting, loved the video!

  96. Read - and loved - Jingle Bell Rock this past winter. Your SG-5 series is very appealing and I would love to read them!

  97. Robyn Nipper Says:

I read Jingle Bell Rock because I loved the other author published in Jingle Bell Rock. But, reading that story and loving the surprise ending and the love shared by the couple started me buying anything written by Alison Kent.

  98. Barbara Baker Says:

I am most intregued by the book “Maximum Exposure”…yum, sounds tantilizing to read.

This is a great and wonderful contest!!!! I would love to win!!!

  99. debbie tsikuris Says:

I love your books. Your heroes are yummy. I adored Jax Stacey in Beach Blanket Bad Boys! I am going to back track & order all I don’t have from the Smithson Group series. Your webpage is great too!! I’m in BnN all the time & this would really help my budget lol

  100. Wilma Frana Says:

I can’t wait for your next book to come out.

  101. I think I’ll start with Beyond A Shadow. I love the cover, especially the coloring and find it very erotic. The stories sounds intrigueing.

  102. I love the ways you described Sebastian Gallo’s character in THE SWEETEST TABOO. Some authors say their hero is enigmatic; your description of Sebastian redefined that word!

Then there is Christian Bane of THE BANE AFFAIR/AT RISK. Never again will I read about a scarred hero without Christian Bane coming to mind. Many authors can make me cry; you make me gasp!

These are just two reasons why you have so much real estate on my keeper shelf. Then there is Ezra Moore, Julian Samms, the Barnes brothers, the girls and guys of gIRLS-gEAR.com. If I had to choose just one book? One hero? Christian Bane. Yeah, I’d like to drive his car.

  103. I haven’t yet read RED LETTER NIGHTS. Thanks for this great giveaway!

  104. I would like to read all of the Smithson Group novels. I’m a big fan of Robert Ludlum and I gravitate towards exciting spy novels. I can’t wait to read yours! Thank you very much!

  105. pamela priebe Says:

3 books that that I would love to read!!

    In danger
    At risk
    The perfect stranger

  106. ALL TIED UP and BEYOND A SHADOW are the books that i think i will start with. It is so good to find new authors to read.

  107. Cathy Lemanski Says:

Glancing through your book list, I found the SG-5 series intriguing. “The Shaughnessey Accord” looks to be one that would keep me interested. Good luck on your releases this summer, MAY YOU SELL BUNCHES AND BUNCHES!!!

  108. Gene Frana Says:

I’m always looking for new books and this sounds interesting.

  109. Rebecca Booth Says:

The cover of The perfect Stranger interests me.What a Hunk on the cover.

  110. Well I went through your bookshelf and I notice 1 or 2 books that I’ve read before but there was a book that I haven’t read before that really caught my interest. The book called The Perfect Stanger reall caught my interest because like Rebecca Booth said the Hunk on the cover caught my eye. I also was interested when I read the description of what the book is about and I really got interested when I read the excerpt.

  111. The cover and except from “At Risk” is very intriguing. I received an email from Access Romance today highlighting the book. I’ve never ead one of your books but it looks like you will be added to my Amazon wish list! And “At Risk” will need to go in my carry-on when I leave for Florida on vacation next week. It looks like a great beach read!

  112. Carol Woodruff Says:

The cover and the blurb on “The Badge and the Baby” caught my interest. I’m a sucker for a hunk and a baby story.

  113. I am looking forward to Maximum Exposure. The characters sound interesting and I love the Miami setting.

  114. I love the entire Smithson series….I can’t wait for Simon’s story! The Beach Alibi is my favorite of the series so far.

While waiting for the next book, I think this summer I am going to read your Girl Gear Series. Starting with All Tied Up and working my way through the series this summer.

  115. Barbara Elness Says:

I haven’t read The Perfect Stranger yet, but the cover is sexy and the story sounds like great fun.

  116. I’m really interested in reading THE COMPLETE IDIOT’S GUIDE TO WRITING EROTIC ROMANCE. I’ve always had a rich imagination and would love to write and flesh out some of my “fantasies”, but have no idea how to go about it… something this book might help me with.

  117. I was looking to by the book THE COMPLETE IDIOT’S GUIDE TO WRITING EROTIC ROMANCE but I couldn’t find it in any of my local book stores. I have a couple of “how to” books on writing romance and this could help me with fleshing out the intimate scenes of the Hero and Heroine. I will try to order it online or at the bookstore soon if I can.

  118. Linda Smith Says:

I love reading your military books (SG-5 in particular).

  119. Kathy Crouch Says:

I loved “Blue Christmas” in Jingle Bell Rock. I have favorites that I keep and re-read and that is one of them. I have never read any of the SG-5 series and think that they sound very interesting. I love reading different styles of books and those sound very interesting. They have both the suspense and the romance thing going on.

  120. Nancy Bristow Says:

I’m a fan of the SG-5 series and have read Beyond A Shadow, Deep Breath, Larger Than Life, The Beach Alibi, The Perfect Stranger. I’m excited to see that The Bane Affair/At Risk will be published mass market and at Walmart. A most excellent move and I look forward to scooping it up…and in July, In Danger. I have quite a number of your back list books on my TBB but the book budget dictates I either have to wait for mass market or buy UBS.

I don’t purchase a huge number of category or anthologies but I also have Infatuation and Jingle Bell Rock.

    Again, great move!

  121. The favorite book and lst book I read is The Perfect Stranger.
I loved the chemistry between Jackson Briggs and Jillian Endicott,

  122. Lily Chan Says:

I fell in love with The Shaughnessey Accord. It’s the 1st SG-5 book I read, but not the last. I’ve read every SG-5 after it. I’m trying to find The Bane Affair.

  123. Am still trying to get my hands on your book INFATUATION. There’s something about a man’s he’s good with his hands!! INFATUATION is not stocked by the local bookstores here but heard that they have your newest book AT RISK is. Getting next the next time I’m going book hunting. Yeah!

  124. I will have to find Beach Blanket Bad Boys! What could be better than yummy bad boys in sultry, hot locations! Especially your story set in Puerto Vallarta. Hmmmmm!

  125. Barbara-Jo Says:

I have been hooked on you as an author since a friend loaned me her copy of The Bane Affair (the first of your SG-5 Series) Now, I eagerly await each new story line! Deep Trouble will be a favorite as it combines two of my favorites into one book!

  126. Your Girl Gear series is my all time favorite! I like to reread those every now and then. I guess if I would have to pick my favorite I would go with No Strings Attached. Chloe tries to act so tough but Eric just seems to know what she wants/needs.

  127. I really liked your story in the Anthology Undressed; The Sweetest Taboo. I loved The Perfect Stranger. I’m looking forward to Simon Baptiste’s story. I will have to be very patient for it I know but it won’t be easy.

  128. You sure don’t make this easy ;). I’ve read a couple of yours and look forward to finding more, but this one sounded intriguing: MAXIMUM EXPOSURE. I like the stories where the characters aren’t ready for one reason or another but discover that doesn’t matter one bit.

  129. TEX APPEAL caught my eye. Love the cover!

  130. I think the book Mother, Please! sounds great!

  131. All Tied Up is the one that interests me.

  132. Cynthya Petzen Says:

I have read quite a few of your books, but one I haven’t read (yet–I definitely plan to!) is The Bane Affair. I love a tortured hero and Christian certainly fits that bill.

  133. I’d love to read ALL TIED UP! Sounds like a really hot read.

  134. As someone who long time ago use to read and attempt to write but was way to young to understand you don’t sit down and write a book in one night. Fast forward thirteen years the opportunity to read comes along and I get hooked once again and then though I will sound crazy when I say this but I’m not the voice of characters enter my head and the story plots start flowing all is good except it isn’t as easy to put them down on paper from the head so the one book I have of yours is THE COMPLETE IDIOT’S GUIDE TO WRITING EROTIC ROMANCE. I refer to it often as I’ve been writing and today I actually just bought At Risk.

  135. I just loved the gIRL-gEAR series, and The Sweetest Taboo (that was an awesome series, and groundbreaking in its own right as well for the Blaze line).

As for books I haven’t read, the cover of The Perfect Stranger has always made me sigh. Plus the story sounds good. Why haven’t I picked this one up yet? Note to self…..

  136. Debby Creager Says:

I like At Risk because it has two stories that go together that I haven’t read yet. Besides who can resist hot sex, danger and innocence all in one.

  137. I have read several of your books: Mother Please & Goes Down Easy were a couple of my favorites. Thanks for the great stories.

  138. Four Men and a Lady - the title alone intrigues me, not to mention I love your writing. I’ve read a number of your books but missed this one.

  139. Debra Guyette Says:

The Perfect Stranger is one book I love. NOt sure if it is because it was my first or not but that one is just greaT!!

  140. BEYOND A SHADOW… I have not had the pleasure of reading this novel, but the characters intrigue me. I can relate to Alexa having a calm and boring life… Boy would I love a guy to come along and stir things up!!! ;)

  141. I have the whole Smithson Group series on my keeper shelf and love re-reading them.

  142. Lori Barnes Says:

    Gosh so many intersting choices
I’ll narrow it down to “The Perfect Stranger”
sounds very intriging However Larger than Life and other’s are right behind.

  143. I’ve read all of your Harlequin Blaze books…I really enjoyed Wicked Games and All Tied Up. I also liked the trilogy stories (Jingle Bell Rock & Undressed)… I look forward to your upcoming Blaze books.

  144. Hm, decisions, decisions… I’m torn between Totally Charmed and Tex Appeal. Both look like reads that would be great to dive into and not put down until they were completely devoured. I think I’d go with Tex Appeal, who could resist that cover?

  145. I can’t wait for In Danger! It looks like just my kind of book!

  146. Good Witches Need Love Too, Because I love the show Charmed. I think it would be a great read.

  147. Vicki Wurgler Says:

the cover to Deep Breath caught my eye and I read the blurb. this sounds like a good summer read.

  148. I’ve just reread “Jingle Bell Rock” and forgot how good “A Blue Christmas” is. That is the only thing I’ve ever read of yours, so I decided to google you to find out what else you have written. Imagine my surprise to find all these books just waiting for me to read. I can’t wait!!!!

  149. TJ Gugliotti Says:

Looking forward for a chance to win

  150. I like the sound of Goes Down Easy, well the cover caught my eye first. The book sounds hot!

  151. While I have had the pleasure of reading many of your books including the SG-5 series and some of the Temptation books, my favorite is probably ‘Goes Down Easy’ from the Blaze line. I particularly liked this story as it had a little bit of the unknown in it with psychic ability and a ghost since the unusual and unique appeal to me. The ‘unworldy’ allows my imagination to go wild and when it is combined with romance it is definitely a book I enjoy reading.

  152. The Bane Affair looks intriguing. The character could be played by Christian Bale in a movie.

  153. Alison Kent’s books are wonderful. I have read all of the SG-5 series but THE BANE AFFAIR. AT RISK, is a re-release of THE BANE AFFAIR. THE BANE AFFAIR book most intrigues me.I will be glad when I can find this book in my area.

  154. Jeanette Jackson Says:

Deep Breath sounds like an exciting read.

  155. Larena Wirum Says:

The Smithson Group series looks really good.

  156. Although I am sure your entire library is filled with hot, steamy story lines that would keep you reading until the sun comes up I was really lured in by TOTALLY CHARMED:Demons, Whitelighters and the Power of Three
“Good Witches Need Love, Too!” Isn’t that the truth..Good Witches do need love..not just the biatch witches!
I have always been a HUGE fan of Charmed and their love life is more complicated than getting a face lift, botox and chemical peel all in one session that’s for sure!
Thank you for the contest..$50.00..oh my you can do a lot of retail therapy with that ;)..I will be sure to by that book if I win!

  157. I would like to read Beyond A Shadow

  158. I loved reading The Perfect Stranger.

  159. I have to say I most intigued by Playing Love’s Odds, because it was your first book and I discovered your older writings with Blaze!

  160. Love in Bloom… I did not know you wrote under another name then! It also seems like a sweet romance :)

  161. I’ve read several of your books and really enjoyed them all.
Somehow, I missed Beyond A Shadow, and it sounds wonderful.
I need to read this book !!!

  162. At Risk and In Danger look intriguing!

  163. All the SG-5 books look great. I’d love to read The Bane Affair.

  164. Marlene Breakfield Says:

I’m most intrigued by THE SHAUGHNESSY ACCORD. I love wise-cracking heroes and sexy witty banter.
    Marlene

  165. I have read and loved every one of your books, and while I’ve enjoyed each and every one, my very favorite is THE BEACH ALIBI.

  166. I’ve never read any of your books before but I’m intrigued by your girl-gear series. I would like to start off by reading No Strings Attached. The covers are very enticing and the synopsis definitely whets the appetite.

  167. Everyone thinks that writing a romance novel is a piece of cake; it’s not. Writing a love/sex scene is not as easy as it seems. I am definitely intrigued by the Idiot’s Guide to Writing Erotic Romance and will probably purchase it once I submit this comment!
