The things you can find . . .

. . . on the shelves at Wal-Mart. (Sorry about the glare from the crappy camera on the cell phone. I would’ve shopped prepared with the digital had I thought the book would be there when the husband and I hit the store for groceries and assorted miscellany Friday night.)

I gotta say, seeing my first mass market paperback on the shelf was tres cool (even with the poor guy’s face stickered; hey, at least it wasn’t my name). Yes, I had a previous mm reissue, but it was an anthology. And, yes, I see my category books on the shelf with every release. But AT RISK, though a reissue, is my first single author mass market. I was SO excited to find it there, woot!

  1. Neat that it is on the shelves already, and no matter how many books you have on the shelves I would think that it is still exciting each and every time you see it. Congratulations.

  2. Congrats Allison, that is great to be able to see your book on the shelves.

  3. Congrats, Allison!! Look like my TBR pile will be growing ….

  4. Congrats!!! I think they should have placed the store sticker somewhere else though!!! ;)

  5. Woo! Beautiful sight, even with the sticker. : )

  6. Congratulations, Alison! That is so exciting. :-D

  7. Congrats Alison! I looked at my Wal-Mart today, but they didn’t have At Risk out yet. Great picture, even with the sticker over the sexy picture.

  8. Liza - Thanks for letting me know! They had four copies at the Wal-Mart I was in, so I’ll be anxious to see if they’re all there when I go back (since that will probably be today to pick up the things we forgot on Friday)!

  9. Congrats, Alison.
