Foreign Copies (and a giveaway)

Christmas in His Bed by Alison KentThis last week I’ve received at least four boxes of foreign copies – all for Kiss & Tell. Italian, German, and this anthology from Mills & Boon with three full Blazes novels included for a whopping 700 pages of good steamy reading! In English even!

The best one was for the Swedish copy; isn’t that gorgeous? I have no idea what the title means . . . Kiss and Tell by Alison Kent - SwedishDouble Life, maybe? I seriously think Sweden does the best covers I’ve ever seen. Every single one I’ve received has been really artistic and evocative.

To win both copies – the English version with 3 full stories, and the Swedish version for fun – leave a comment here telling me if you have a favorite Easter candy or a favorite Easter dinner dish or a favorite Easter tradition. Me? I shall be writing. I’ll draw a name from those who comment by Monday, April 5, 2010, 8:00 p.m. CDT.

My favorite candy at Eastertime is Peeps! I love them in any color and now I hear they have chocolate covered ones so will look for them today at the store. They sound really yummy. Oh and jelly beans are good too.

Don’t put me in the drawing, as I do already have several signed AK books (maybe more than several but they are all in boxes and I dare not add to them as I’m moving again in two years max).

But I love Mars eggs…somehow, Mars bars taste better in the form of an egg.

Well, I have my Cadbury Creme Eggs and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs all ready to go, so I’m happy. :) Tradition wise, I’ve liked it more when we went the Thanksgiving route with the turkey and stuffing, not all that fond of the Polish route with the ham. . . this year, looks to be totally different. Instead of tomorrow, we’re having a more special meal today, and it’s fish for the others, something else for me since I’m not a fish fan. LOL :) Any of that make sense? :)

I’ve always enjoyed Cadbury eggs, but this year I’m eating Hershey’s Kisses Buttercreme flavor, they are yummy. We usually have a big get-together for Easter, but we aren’t doing that this year. I’m just taking it easy.

    Gorgeous covers!!
My favorite candy with Easter is ordinairy chocolate eggs. They have such bright collored foil round them and are easy to pop into your mouth. And when they melt… heaven. Speaking of heavenly food… My favorite dish for Easter is chocolate pudding with a little whipped cream. Sinfully delicious. (Yes I have a fondness for chocolate.)

Happy Easter, Alison! Favorite candy? Jelly beans; Sees makes a candy similar to them but slightly larger and covered with sprinkles–those are yummy, too!

    # 1 candy for me… Easter colored M&M’s

A chocolate PEEP does sound delicious. I’m going to look for one of those today.

    Traditional meal

Roast chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, 7 layer salad and broccoli casserole.

    Traditions
I still hide a small Easter basket for my 4 kids or mail one to them if they can’t come home.
I also purchase a Publix bunny buck for each of them too. You pay $2.50. $1.50 goes to various charities and you get $1.00 back with a bunny sticker on it.
    It looks authentic!

Me! It would be nice to compare both editions, since I am Swedish :). Oh, and the title indeed means Double Life :)

My favorite tradition is to gather branches, and then decorate them with feathers and eggs. It is lovely.

The chocolate covered eggs with real coconut in them, especially like the dark chocolate.
