Want to get your hands on RT’s Best Harlequin Blaze nominees? Well, c’mon down!

Earlier this week, RT Bookclub Magazine released their 2009 Reviewer’s Choice Award nominees. I heard through the grapevine that A LONG, HARD RIDE was in the running for Best Blaze, along with MAKE ME YOURS by Betina Krahn, SHE’S GOT IT BAD by Sarah Mayberry, LETTERS FROM HOME by Rhonda Nelson, and HOT UNDER PRESSURE by Kathleen O’Reilly. How the reviewers settle on five with all the awesome books penned by the Blaze Babes, I’ll never know, but yay!

2009 RT Reviewers Choice Awards Best Harlequin Blaze Nominees

I’m going to give away a set of the five books to one lucky person who leaves a comment here telling me what you love most about the Blaze line. You must comment by Saturday, December 12, 2009, 9:00 a.m. CST. I’ll send you a copy of A LONG, HARD RIDE myself since being the earliest of the five books it’s no longer available new on Amazon, but the rest I’ll send to you using Amazon Prime’s free shipping, woot!

The thing I love the most about the Blaze books is that I can buy one of their books without reading the jacket and just KNOW that it’s going to be great!

Hey Alison! :) I think I like the blaze books because their shorter than a huge novel, have plenty of steam, and are the right price for a tight budget! Their a great way to get away for a while in a fun world not of my own making. Love the Blaze series!!

I love the Blaze line – it’s one of my favorites (that and Silhouette Desire.) I love it because they’re so real. The romance is hot, yes, but more importantly the connection between the hero and heroine. It’s a complete and satisfying story, every time. Win!

I love them because I know they’ll be spicy with REAL characters… and ditto on reading the back cover doesn’t matter, I know it’ll be good.

Blaze is my favorite line of the Harlequin Books because they are the most (in my opinion) realistic. The woman are smart and independant. The men are hot! The dialogue is current. And mostly because its one of the few places where they call a cock a cock and not a probing member! Keep up the good work authors!

YAY Alison…..very cool on the nomination…..very well deserved too!!

The Blaze line is my favorite too! Like someone else mentioned, I know I can pick one up without reading the blurb and know it is going to be good, I’ve never been disappointed with any Blaze I’ve gotten! They are quick reads that are HOT and they are my “go to” books when I’m in the mood to just sit and read!! :)

What I like the most is that when I pick up a Blaze I’m transported to a place warm, welcoming & wonderful.
The story is short and semi sweet without making me feel guilty for indulging.
A Blaze always makes me feel like part of the romance, the reality as on it’s pages. And they are smoking hot!! (Need I say more?)

They are great for days I want shorter stories, but there is also a story to go along with the smoking hotness! :)

I like the Blaze line b/c they’re always quick reads that don’t skimp on emotion or steam. The stories are satisfying and when you reach the very last page you don’t feel as if you’ve read the Cliff Notes of a much longer book. Well-rounded and never rushed – the Blaze authors and editors know what they’re doing!

I came to the Blaze line after the Temptation line so I have been reading them a long time. I love the Blaze heroes and heroines because they are usually strong and smart. They always have a blazing romance and I have never read one I didn’t like. All of these authors are very deserving.

Many others have said it – Blazes are quick but satisfying reads. And, oh yeah. Hot. Plus, some of the best authors out there are writing them (it’s the truth – not a suck up, LOL). Can’t beat that.

I LUV Blaze books!! I like that they’re not complicated. It’s fun sometimes to be able to finish a book fast. I’m not always in the mood to read a book that I know will take days to read. The price is good too!!! Thanks, Sue

Blaze is my favorite among the Harlequin/Silhouette lines because they are fun stories that are quick reads but don’t skimp on the emotion or heat that makes this a wonderful line.

    Congrats on the nomination.
