Everyone Wins!

A drug dealer’s murder forces ex-cop Dulcie Quinn to hide the reluctant murder witness — Cajun exotic dancer Julien Langlois, a man with more than a few secrets of his own — on her houseboat in the steamy Louisiana bayou. And from the moment she sets eyes on Julien, Dulcie knows he’s going to be nothing but absolute trouble…

I’m totally out of it because I didn’t hear about this before, but if it’s Michele Albert, it’s bound to be good! I’ve only read one book (it’s the whole contemp thing for me, not at ALL a reflection of her writing or my opinion of it–I’ve only read one each of Rachel Gibson and Karen Templeton, too, both of whom are superb, and only about half of Crusie’s books) but it really, really impressed me. Fabulous stuff, and though it wasn’t “erotica-spicy”…the woman can *write* love scenes, which is a surprisingly rare talent!

So if you haven’t read her, you’re in for a special treat!

Thanks for the info, Alison. I never knew about it. I read this book when it came out years ago. I loved her writing. It will be a nice addition to my e-bank.

I bought this one when it was available at Moxie Press, but oh, somehow I never read it! Now I’ll have to dig it up.

Thanks for the mention, Alison! I’ll report back on the results of the experiment.

Lydia, Mahaira, and Nicole, thanks too for the comments! Lydia, I know what you mean. I don’t read much RS anymore because it’s too close to what I write, and I know I’m missing lots of good books because of that.
