I read through the entire thread/blog you posted. I had no idea Amazon made up so little of the sales. BUT if your books are available at the Targets/Sams/Costcos/Walmarts, then by default the Amazon rankings 'could' mean more since the readers have less places to go to get your books (even if they are still in all the bookstores). I've never been in one. The closest is down Interstate 10 about 7 miles which would take me about 30 minutes to get to, ha. And I have two super Wal-Marts within five minutes. Besides, I'm just not a big warehouse club shopper. Had a Sam's membership for about a year and never renewed it. Costco is like a Sam’s Club, the big bulk warehouse club store thingies.
